Apple teaShe stuck out her tongue, and winced at her reflection in the mirror. It was flecked with angry red spots here and there, evident of the death of her tastebuds. She frowned at her own reflection, and retracted her tongue. Apparently the garlic bread she ate for breakfast was too hard for her liking.
She stuck out her tongue again, and made for the cup of hot, steaming apple tea placed in front of her. She smiled as the sweet, yet un-overpowering(if there was such a word) scent wafted up to her nose. Taking a small sip of it, she lay back in her father's easy chair and pulled out a novel(The truth About Forever- Sarah Dessen) to read, contented.
There's this thing about rainy days :)
