In dreams you lose your heartaches
Whatever you wish for, you keep.

I'm super burnt out today. Its as if there's too much on my plate. Either that or my plate's small.

Whatever you said, it cut me to the core.
I didn't want to be inferior to her, neither can i change myself.

What am i good at?

Watching UP tomorrow :)
Hope it doesn't disappoint.

She sat at the window of her room and leaned her forehead against the cool window pane. She took in a big breath and sighed it out.

Take my heart it is Thine own, it shall be Thy royal throne.

so, this is it.

HAPPY SEVENTEENTH, MY DEAREST KAHO :D

Sec 1, KL Voyage of Songs.

Title: First impressions don't count:

She frowned as a pretty girl pushed her way past the crowd, walking neatly up to her group of friends to volunteer to sell flowers for choir's fund raising valentines. She had wanted to do so too, only that she was slower. So in the end she ended up selling balloons with Christopher. Bad experience.

Title: Teamwork.

She remembered singing behind a piano, as their group shyly stepped out to perform Mirror Mirror (M2M), with the lead vocalist singing her heart out. They had spent a long time practising that song, and it had bore fruits. It was the best group that performed, the teacher said, and his compliment made them very, very happy.

Sec2(?) Flag-day

Title: Learn from history and its lessons.

She remember vividly the fun. laughter and tears that came along when she was with her group of friends. She remembered that time when they splashed water her friend, soaking her entirely to reveal her black bra. She also rememebered those hateful letters that they sent to her friend, which made her break down in tears. Even now, her friend will never fail to remind her now and then about the treatment she endured in those days. She, on looking back, was filled with regret on not treasuring her friendship even more. Even so, she learnt from history and its lessons. She treasured her friend even more, now.

Title: Results.

She and her friend squeezed through the cluster of people at the results board, and noted that they were in the same class. Both of them hugged each other, knowing that at least there would be a familiar face in this new class of strangers.

Sec3, tea appreciation

Title: Groups.
She, her friend, angela and huiyi formed a clique, VACH. They had lots of fun, her being the lovesick one, her friend being the beautiful one, angela being the crazy one, and huiyi the serious yet funny one. They stuck closely with each other, and endured the onslaught of gossips from the group of girls in their class. They studied together, ate together, cried together, shared together. Even when angela was the target of gossip in class, they supported her together, and through it all they made through the 3rd year of school.

Sec4, prom night

Title: O's

It was the last 100m to the end of their 4 year long race in Anglican High School, and they all studied hard together. She remembered the last time her friend studied at house, which consisted of eating cranberries and using sticky fingers to solve math problems. But most part of it was talking and laughing, and sleeping(for her friend, not her). Even as they walked into the examination hall(how long ago was that?), her extended group of study-friends hugged and prayed before they entered headfirst into a horrible 2week long exam period. It was time.

Title: Graduation Day.
All of the students gathered in the hall to collect their slip of paper which determined half of their future. Most of them were in punkish hairdos, and garishly dyed hair colours. Her group huddled together, and opened their result slips together. Some were satisfied, some were not, but eventually they liked where they were headed to, to carve out a future for themselves. Angela: SP. Huiyi: TP. Vanessa: TP. Cheryl: MJC.

The years to come are going to be long, and I really cherish this friendship that we've built since secondary 1. Kaho, you've always been a loyal, caring, generous friend to me, one who's always stuck by my side through thick and thin. One who is still missing me during my chinese class even when we're in different schools now. One who's always there to wipe my tears and provide for me a shoulder to wail on when some lousy guy comes along to break my heart. One who's always so protective of me, and always so loving.

Stay with me, in my heart
Till then we meet,
In joyous greet and laughter.

I LOVE YOU KAHO, and happy birthday :)

I need to mug.

Apple tea

She stuck out her tongue, and winced at her reflection in the mirror. It was flecked with angry red spots here and there, evident of the death of her tastebuds. She frowned at her own reflection, and retracted her tongue. Apparently the garlic bread she ate for breakfast was too hard for her liking.
She stuck out her tongue again, and made for the cup of hot, steaming apple tea placed in front of her. She smiled as the sweet, yet un-overpowering(if there was such a word) scent wafted up to her nose. Taking a small sip of it, she lay back in her father's easy chair and pulled out a novel(The truth About Forever- Sarah Dessen) to read, contented.

There's this thing about rainy days :)

In the silence you stare at the world
Your eyes are screaming to be heard
I want to learn you inside out

She closed her eyes and a wave of relief swept over her. Dwelling in this newfound peace, she began to dream, to rest. She felt like her soul was struggling to break out within her, to run and to jump and to sing and to dance.
She was too tired.
She fell into an uneasy sleep.

Her soul was weary, her body weak.

Can you interpret this, kenneth?

PS: 200th post :)

We're alone

I slept late last night. Blame it all on kenneth, who kept trying to intepret my seemingly abstract blog posts. Hahahaha.
I'm really very tired now though.

I have currently no inspiration to write.

bitter silence

Red ground,
him leaning over her in concern.
The feel of her fingertips over his wide palm.
Blue ground,
standing next to each other.
His voice, tune comforting.
The ground we walked upon then,
Fingers bumping against each other.
That familiar silence.

The ground we walk upon now,
Bitter silence.
Who could speak first?
Inside our hearts lie raging turmoil.
Yet we obey His Higher Calling,
knowing that the path we take is pleasing to Him.

Here am I, all of me.
Take my life, its all for Thee.

Of trembling fingers and light-headed steps.

She panted heavily, beads of sweat forming, or rather dripping down on the sides of her face. Yet, she pushed herself, while running with heavy steps, to intercept a flying ball, before the sharp Phweet! of a whistle stopped her in her steps.
2-1. She smiled, victorious, as she threw aside her bib and walked off the court, arm-in-arm with her equally happy teamates.

How tired.

&i still remember how it felt; it kept ringing through my mind
Albeit unwanted
